Administration is performed through a set of management interfaces, reached from the appliance’s home page as any other application. Together they provide the visibility and control an administrator requires.

Management interfaces

Rancher: container management

Rancher is used to view system resources, monitor running workloads, and manage the installed applications. It is the primary tool for day-to-day administration of the appliance’s applications.

Keycloak: identity and access

Keycloak controls authentication and access across all applications. It is where administrators create users and manage the access each user holds.
For lower-level visibility into system resources and workloads, a Kubernetes dashboard is also available.

Administrator sign-in

The default administrative username across the appliance, including its operating system and identity system, is larkadmin. Administrative passwords are provided with the appliance at delivery. They are specific to each appliance and are not included in this documentation.
Appliance-specific details such as the administrator password are listed on the delivery record issued with each appliance, not in this documentation.
The administrator credentials must be protected. They provide full control over the appliance, its applications, and its users.
